Parental Involvement

Parents have a critical role to ensure that The Oaks is operating consistently with the mission and philosophy. Beyond working with their children at home, there are multiple opportunities for parents to be involved at The Oaks. These include assisting teachers with field trips, proctoring standardized testing, assisting with administrative tasks, etc. Additionally, parents serve on committees  which work closely with the administrative staff of the school. Please inquire with the school administration about serving on a school committee or task force.

Saturday School

In order to encourage family interaction as well as continue to build community within the school, The Oaks Academy will have Saturday School two times during the year. All students and parents/guardians will attend school together, becoming involved in classroom activities as well as school wide activities. Please check school calendar for schedule.
