This book gives an excellent picture of our philosophy in the early grades. It also is a clear explanation of why we read fairy tales, Shakespeare, and Greek myths. Andreola also explains Mason's philosphy behind nature walks and narration.

Marva Collins tells about her success using a classical method with struggling students in Chicago. This is an inspiring book that reminds us that all children can learn and deserve access to the best we have to offer, such as Shakespeare and other timeless classics.

This classic essay, delivered by Dorothy Sayers as a speech in 1949, began the modern revival of classical education.

This small booklet gives a brief but thorough overview of classical education. It explains the Trivium and how it is applied.
