Athletics and Clubs
The Oaks Academy Plus offers a variety of athletic opportunities in Oaks After 3 and through partnerships with other local organizations. These opportunities span from clubs to camps to competitive teams.
Athletics for students in Pre-K to 4th grade are offered in the forms of clubs or in a partnership with Tab Rec. Competitive sports teams are available at The Oaks Academy for students in grades 5-8. These teams include girls’ volleyball, coed soccer, girls’ and boys’ basketball, and track and field. They compete in the Indianapolis Independent Schools League (IISL). All Oaks athletic opportunities focus on experiencing the duty and delight of athletics while treating others how we wish to be treated.
Oaks After 3 activities are available for Pre-K to 8th grade students and change from session to session. Most activities are created and led by Oaks Academy faculty. Activities usually meet once per week and range in length from 45 minutes to over two hours depending on age group and content. Oaks After 3 activities may include chess, Frisbee, Indiana history, Irish dancing, knitting, math, music, theatre, speech, and more.
