The Fabric of Character
“Why character? Why now?”
These are the questions that Anne Snyder opens with in her newly released book, The Fabric of Character. Published by the Philanthropy Roundtable, Snyder’s book is designed to equip philanthropists and donors with an understanding of precisely what character is, why it’s so important in our era, and how to support its revival.
Since its beginning, The Oaks Academy has supported the development of character in its students through habit formation, right relationships with people, ideas, and God, and the continual pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty. Through G0d’s grace, and the dedication of our faculty, school leaders, families, and community, we have seen remarkable results. These results have not gone unnoticed, and we are honored and excited that The Oaks is featured as the first of six case studies in The Fabric of Character.
The book is available in its entirety online, and as a PDF download, and is also available for purchase.
