The Oaks Academy has been recognized locally and nationally as a model of diversity, community renewal, and academic success.
Founded in 1998, The Oaks Academy is a Christ-Centered school that exists to provide a rich, classical education to children of diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds, preparing them to succeed in a rigorous secondary educational program and to demonstrate spiritual, social and emotional maturity.
The Pre-Kindergarten Education Center is the self-contained home to our entire Pre-K program, designed and created to meet the needs of our youngest learners.
Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade attend one of our two lower school campuses, where they experience our integrated curriculum and develop a love of learning.
Students in 6th to 8th grade are brought together from each of our lower school campuses for Middle School, where they are prepared academically, socially, and spiritually for high school and beyond.
Oaks Plus encompasses all before and after school programming and offers students and families a variety of opportunities in athletics, clubs, childcare, and camps.
Growing from 53 students in 1998 to more than 1,000 today, The Oaks addresses the important need for high quality, faith-based education in Indianapolis.
With 3 Indianapolis campuses, we are on track to enroll more than 1,200 students within the next few years.
The Oaks Academy students consistently score in the top 3% of Indiana Standardized Tests, and the school was named the #1 Indiana School Corporation in 2015 and 2017.
Even more important than high test scores, our students develop a deep and lasting love for learning.
Our students’ success doesn’t end after graduating from The Oaks Academy.
Eighty-seven percent go on to attend top universities, including Indiana University, Purdue University, Princeton, Xavier, Spelman, and many other schools.
By mission, The Oaks Academy maintains a racially and socioeconomically diverse student body.
