After graduating from The Oaks Academy, Braya attended Herron High School and Ball State University. She is now on staff with Cru. 

When reflecting on her time at The Oaks, Braya cherishes the art and skill of slowing down and reflection that The Oaks nurtures. 

"Reflection time, sitting outside and sketching all we noticed in nature, was a gift. The Oaks is also where I first fell in love with and hungered for God's word."
