Partnering with Families
At The Oaks, we believe parents are their child’s first teacher. At every step throughout your Oaks experience, our goal is to come alongside you to help your child reach their highest potential.
Helping Your Child Reach Their Full Potential
We want to help your child reach their full potential, and developing strong academic skills is an important part. Our faculty closely tracks each child’s growth and provides additional support as needed through our Response to Intervention program. Through one-on-one or group support, our experienced faculty works closely with students, both in and out of the classroom. This program is offered at our lower school and middle school as well.
Our full-time student support specialist is dedicated to helping students who need additional support. This role allows us to further support students who need help transitioning to different activities and building emotional regulation skills.
Small Class Sizes
Your child is set up for success with our limited class sizes. Each class in our Early Education Center is about 16 students. Every teacher is supported by a full-time instructional assistant who provides additional guidance and care for our students.
Engaging Families at Saturday School
Twice a year, our supportive community has the unique opportunity to learn together at Saturday School. This distinctive Oaks tradition allows you to spend time in the classroom with your child and learn alongside fellow Oaks parents in short seminars. Most parents say they are better parents because of what they’ve learned at Saturday School experiences.
