London Brooks | Class of 2018
July 14, 2026 update

Congratulations to London Brooks for recently being crowned Miss Indiana for America Strong! She will represent Indiana while making an impact across the state.
As Miss Indiana for America Strong, London is promoting her platform, "Level Up: Visibility, Opportunity, and Access for Women in Sports." As a former student-athlete, she is passionate about creating more opportunities for women and girls to participate in sports while advocating for greater visibility and accessibility. London will travel to Las Vegas later this year to compete in the Miss America Strong national competition.
London is following in her sister’s footsteps. Justus Kelly, class of 2009, held the same title in 2020. London says her favorite part of the experience has been serving her community and meeting so many inspiring young women throughout the process.
London recently graduated from Hanover College, where she was a student-athlete and held several leadership roles, including President of the Black Student Union, Lead Peer Advisor, Student Ambassador, and Philanthropy Chair for Chi Omega. She plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a sports attorney, continuing her passion for advocating for women in sports.
Reflecting on her time at The Oaks Academy, London shared that the school's focus on respect, perseverance, and striving for excellence helped shape the leader she is today. We are proud to celebrate her accomplishments and look forward to seeing the impact she makes during her year as Miss Indiana for America Strong.
