Built in 1920, School #26 was originally part of Indianapolis Public Schools. After being underutilized for several years, The Oaks Academy acquired the building and opened its doors in 2015.
The Oaks Academy, Martindale-Brightwood serves around 270 students in Middle School (grades 6-8) and 80 students in our Pre-Kindergarten Education Center.
