Age Requirements

Children must be four years of age by August 1st of the year he or she would begin Pre-Kindergarten and five years of age by August 1st for Kindergarten.

The Oaks offers a full day and half day school option for both Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students.

Step 1: Join The Oaks for a Virtual Visit

The easiest way to visit The Oaks is by attending a virtual admission event. Visit our Upcoming Events page to register and find out more. 

Step 2: Submit an Application

You can apply to The Oaks Academy online. We require a $50, non-refundable application fee. Please find our online application here.

Step 3: Submit Records and Recommendations

All students applying to The Oaks are required to submit a birth certificate and immunization record.

If your student will be entering Kindergarten, we require that they participate in a virtual 45 – 60 minute readiness assessment with one of our Early Education Kindergarten teachers. 

If your student will be entering into grades 1st – 8th, we require school records and recommendations. 

Students going into 1st grade will also have a 1:1 assessment to determine readiness, while students going into 2nd to 8th grades will need to take the NWEA Admissions Assessment exam.

Step 4: Submit Financial Aid Forms

Gather your W-2 and 1040 tax forms from last year and submit a financial aid application through FACTS Tuition Aid application process.  More information on the financial aid process will be provided after submitting your application.

Step 5: Schedule a Placement Exam

You will be contacted by our Admissions Office, and we’ll work with you to schedule a readiness assessment for students going into 1st grade or a placement exam for students going into 2nd – 8th grade.

Receive an Admission Decision

The Oaks Academy Admissions Office will send official admissions decisions via mail. 

  • Early Decision Applications submitted by December 1 will receive decisions December 31
  • Regular Admissions Applications submitted by February 1 will be receive decisions mid-March
  • Rolling Admission submitted after February 1 will receive decisions based on enrollment needs
